Q&A
Is there a dress code?
Answer The dress code for the reception is formal as we'd love for all of you to get dressed up with us, whether it's a floor-length gown or a nice cocktail dress - a tuxedo or a suit. Feel free to dress more casually for the ceremony if you prefer!
Can I bring a +1?
As much as we love all of you, we are only able to accommodate those guests who are formally noted on your wedding invitation and in committed relationships. If you did get a plus one (your name + guest), please ensure that you are RSVPing for both of you.
What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
As our ceremony begins right at 1pm, it'd be preferred that everyone tried to arrive and be seated by 12:30/12:45pm, the latest. Late arrivals will unfortunately not be allowed in to avoid disruption.
Can I take pictures?
Answer We kindly ask that phones are put away during the processional of the ceremony. This is to ensure that everyone we love has an unobstructed view, including the professionals we've hired to capture one of the most important moments of our lives. We'd hate for a well-meaning person's phone to block this moment. After our photographers get the first kiss shot, please take as many photos as you can and want! And we promise to forward the wedding photos and video to those who want it - in exchange for the ones you took.
Is there a shuttle to the venue?
Answer For the ceremony, we ask guests transport themselves. There is a parking lot available at the church for those who choose to drive. For the reception, there is a shuttle from the Hilton Garden Inn Melville to the Larkfield (doing pick-ups at 5:15 and 5:30pm) and back at the end of the night available for hotel guests. Valet is also available.
We do not have a room block at this hotel but it is located nearby our primary hotel if additional rooms are needed.
